Title : DECISION SUPPORT FOR APPLICATION SELECTION IN SMART FARMING
Abstract : This paper examined the issue of selecting smart farm management applications using the Farmland agribusiness company from Brčko District Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) as an example. Fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making techniques, SiWeC (simple weight calculation), and the novel CORASO method (compromise ranking from alternative solutions) were applied in this case study. The research is based on expert decision-making and predetermined criteria. The results of applying the fuzzy SiWeC method showed that the most important criteria for choosing an application are data precision, ease of use and application efficiency, while the ranking results using the fuzzy CORASO method indicate that A1 is the highest rated application. These results demonstrated that all business sectors of the farm in question must be covered and that applications should have more options so that a farm or business may be operated with a single application. The significance of the research lies in the successful application of the innovative multi-criteria fuzzy method for the evaluation of applications for managing smart farms (smart farming), as well as the determination of key parameters and further guidelines that affect modern management in agricultural production.
