| Abstract : | The subterranean species Niphargus zagrebensis S. Karaman, 1950 (Crustacea: Amphipoda, fam. Niphargidae) is redescribed and figured based on typical material from Zagreb, and certain variability of single taxonomical characters is given. New localities of this species are mentioned and geographic map with all known localities of N. zagrebensisis presented. The relation of this species regarding other similar species (N. valachicus Dobreanu & Manolache, 1933; N. hrabei S. Karaman; 1932; N. elegans Garbini, 1894) is discussed |
