| Abstract : | One new species of the family Niphargidae (Crustacea: Amphipoda: Gammaridea), Niphargus denarius, sp. n. is described and figured from the subterranean water of Efimia, Cephalonia, Greece, and its relation to some other members of the genus Niphargus Schiödte, 1949 from Greece and some adjacent regions is discussed. This species belongs to the Supraniphargus group of taxa. |
