Recent experience Director of IFAD Project Coordination Unit in Montenegro / Rural Clustering & Transportation Project; focusing especially on the Economic and Rural Development, Rural Policy Analysis, feasibility and specific Montenegrin contextual factors of relevance (2016-2018). Professor at the Biotechnical faculty and the Department of Geography at the University of Montenegro, (2018, permanent member of the Faculty; 2015-2017, Visiting professor), earlier at the Biotechnical faculty (Faculty of Agriculture) of the University of Montenegro (2010-2014; 1995-2001). * * * Started professional career as Engineer of Agriculture at the Secretariat for Economic Development of the Berane Municipal Administration. Worked as Senior Researcher of the Institute of Agriculture of the University of Montenegro from 1995 till 2001. In the period June 2001 – September 2010 worked for the Economic development sector at the European Agency for Reconstruction and the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro as Senior Task Manager / Task Manager for Agriculture and Rural Developement, being responsible for the direct management of more than 100 EU funded project from the area of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment for Montenegro and some projects for Serbia (State Union EU funded portfolio). In the period September 2010 - September 2013 worked at the Biotechnical faculty (BTF) of the University of Montenegro being engaged on the BTF international and national projects. In the period September 2013 - July 2014 worked again for the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro as Temporary Task Manager for the Environment and Energy sectors; August-September 2014, as external expert of the EU Delegation for Climate change, Waste management and Energy projects. Worked for the Institute of Forestry of Montenegro in the period 2014-2015 as a Leading researcher. Chairman (President) of the Governing Board of the Institute. * * * Graduated at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Belgrade, At the same Academic Institution completed Master and Doctoral studies and promoted in academic rank of a Research Associate (naucni saradnik), afterwards at the University of Montenegro as assistant professor (docent). * * * Researcher with 400 scientific research results, being the author or co-author of scientific papers published in various peer reviewed scientific journals such as "Land Degradation & Development", "SpringerPlus", "Austrian Journal of Forest Science", "Archives of Biological Sciences", "Notulae Botanicae Horti Agrobotanici Cluj-Napoca", "The Journal of Environmental Protection and Ecology (JEPE)", "Malaysian Journal of Soil Science", "Allgemeine Forst Zeitschrift (AFZ) der Wald", "Humid Substances in Ecosystems", "Journal of Forestry Faculty of the Kastamonu University", "Acta Agriculturae Serbica", "Acta biologica Iugoslavica", "Archive of Agricultural Sciences", "Natura Montenegrina", "Medical essays", "Agriculture and Forestry", "Forestry" etc. Attended various International (long-medium-short term) training courses in Austria (BOKU), Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Iran, Italy, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and the United States (Cornell University).
